Atelier HSL
In 2000, the HSL Project Organization and the foundation Kunst en Openbare Ruimte (Art and Public Space) established the independent foundation Atelier HSL. Atelier HSL is the programme for art and culture related to the construction of the HSL. The aim of Atelier HSL is to make the cultural and social aspects of this large-scale construction project accessible for a wide audience.
Atelier HSL develops and stimulates cultural projects related to the HSL. This includes assignments for works of art in and around (new) stations, trains, and resting-places along the route. Atelier HSL grants these assignments, sometimes together with other parties, to artists, photographers, filmmakers and writers.
